- Description
Hollywood. Vivian treads the pavement and dreams of a prince on a white horse. One evening, she has a chance encounter with handsome, lonely and somewhat mysterious millionaire Edward Lewis, who takes her to a lavish hotel suite. He lets her sleep in peace and in the morning makes her a surprising offer. He wants Vivian to be his public escort for a week. The girl stands out in her "work" clothes in the luxurious hotel like a tarantula on a sponge cake, and even the money Edward has generously provided her with will not allow her to accomplish the task at hand - to acquire a suitable wardrobe.
At the last moment, the fatherly hotel manager comes to the crying girl's rescue. Slowly, the hooker's transformation into a great lady begins. A transformation that will be noticed by everyone but Edward. The week slowly ends, and Vivian is falling more and more in love. With the sudden luxury, but mostly with her protector. She seems to have found her prince. But he doesn't want a faithful, good and beautiful woman. He wants to keep Vivian as his mistress. A week ago, the girl would have agreed, but love has joined with pride and Vivian is leaving. Edward realizes his mistake. In a white Rolls-Royce, with a bouquet and an umbrella for a sword, he goes to fetch his bride. Life goes on in Hollywood.
