Producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Tony Scott's action thriller revolves around the mysterious sense of déjà-vu that haunts government ATF agent Doug Carlin (a great Denzel Washington). Carlin is investigating a large-scale bombing, and is called in to secure evidence after a bomb explodes on a ferry in New Orleans.
In doing so, he discovers that a mysterious phenomenon that most people think is just a figment of their own minds is actually something much more powerful. At that moment, his race against time begins, claiming the lives of hundreds of innocent people.
