Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) becomes the man of the house overnight! His family rushes off for Christmas vacation and accidentally forgets him. Kevin then decides to decorate the house, but he doesn't use tinsel and tresses. Two thieves are hanging around and Kevin sets a series of crazy traps to welcome them...
