The bitter comedy The Full Monty, set in the northern English industrial city of Sheffield, deals with rather grim topics such as unemployment and the threat to the traditional male role. Six men, led outwardly by the confident Gaz and struggling with financial, family, and psychological issues, attempt to make money. They organize a male striptease show, with themselves as the main attraction. However, exposing themselves in public while maintaining their dignity is not an easy task for any of them...
