Resident Evil: Extinction depicts the end of the world, when the released T-virus turned city dwellers into zombies. A group of survivors led by Carlos and L.J. set out across the desert in a convoy, searching for safety and other survivors. In Nevada, secret experiments are being conducted on Alice, who has superhuman abilities, in the Umbrella laboratories. The convoy heads for Alaska, but first stops in Las Vegas to replenish supplies. Alice, tired of mutations, protects the group with the hope of rescue. However, she succumbs to ever-increasing dangers, and the fight with Umbrella is just beginning.
