The story of Jurassic World: Dominion takes place four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, the original home of the resurrected Jurassic creatures. In the meantime, these animals have begun to reproduce both in controlled and uncontrolled ways, forcing us to adapt to their presence in our ecosystem – and to accept that we may no longer stand at the top of the food chain. There are people who want to exploit this immense new power for their own benefit, and others who want to stop them and strive to keep the world in the greatest balance possible. Among the latter are Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and his partner Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), who gained valuable experience in the first two films. They are joined by Jurassic Park legends – paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and the ever-insightful theorist Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). Together, they embark on a breathtaking race against time, facing human and reptilian enemies alike, in an attempt to achieve the impossible in a situation that is not five, but one minute to midnight...
