- Description
The island of Blp is a dragon paradise inhabited by Vikings, or a Viking paradise inhabited by dragons, as the case may be. Former ancient enemies live here in enviable harmony. They are ruled by the young chief Hiccup, who loves to fly with his winged sidekick Toothless. And he loves his friend Astrid too, he just hasn't had time to tell her yet.
Ironically, it is love that becomes the harbinger of the clouds that begin to gather over Blp. Hiccup is not to blame, it is the adorable white dragoness Lightning, who literally stuns Toothless, who under her influence transforms from the dreaded Night Fury into an insecure teenager.
Perhaps that's why he doesn't sense the danger in the air in time for all the dragons approaching the island's shores. In an attempt to find a new refuge for them, Hiccup and Astrid set out to find a myth-ridden Hidden World where all the dragons can hide from this threat. Will they find it? And will they find it in time?
