Top London cop Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is good. Too good. To keep the rest of his team from looking bad, he's reassigned to the quiet town of Sandford. He's assigned to Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), who questions him endlessly about the action lifestyle. All seems seemingly peaceful for Angelo until two actors are found with their heads cut off. It's ruled an accident, but Angel isn't about to accept that, especially when more and more dead bodies turn up.
