Strangers with different life stories - a limousine driver, a divorcing couple, a police officer, a prostitute, young newlyweds and a hotel manager - seek refuge from the coming storm in a run-down motel in the middle of the Nevada desert.
Soon someone starts killing them one by one. As tensions rise and the guests begin to suspect each other of the mysterious killings, they are surprised to discover that it was no coincidence that brought them to the same place at the same time...
