- Description
Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning are featured in "an unadulterated horror fest" (The Calgary Sun) that delivers terrifying twists and turns and a shocking surprise ending. Newly widowed psychologist David Callaway (De Niro) moves into a new house in upstate New York to try to help his unhappy daughter Emily (Fanning) cope with her mother's death.
But instead of peace, the two become the target of a savage manhunt. For after a short time, someone - or something - calling himself Charlie begins to terrorize them. A "friend" who may or may not be a mere fantasy... But it's definitely the stuff of nightmares! Whether you want to or not, you'll be "shaking in your seat!" (Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper).
