Officer Ripley is the only survivor of the emergency landing of her damaged spaceship on the planet Fiorina 161. It's a desolate garbage dump inhabited by humans that society has condemned. She encounters murderers and criminals, inhabitants of a former high-security prison. Ripley suspects an alien was aboard her ship.
Soon her hunch is confirmed when the body count suddenly rises and more and more mutilated bodies begin to be found. Without weapons or modern technology, Ripley sets out with the prisoners to fight the ruthless monster. However, she soon discovers that she too carries one of them inside her. To destroy the Alien once and for all, she must kill herself.
