Bob Parr and his wife Helen once were world-famous superheroes. Every day they saved lives and fought against villains. Fifteen years later, however, they are forced to assume the identities of ordinary citizens and live a normal suburban life with their three children – Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack. But Bob feels an irresistible urge to return to action. His chance comes when he receives a mysterious message offering him a top-secret mission on a remote island.
