Vampire in Brooklyn - DVD

A ghost ship filled with dead bodies arrives at the Brooklyn harbor. Emerging from its depths is Maximillian (Eddie Murphy) – a charismatic, elegant, and deadly vampire who is the last of his kind. To save his bloodline from extinction, he must find and seduce a woman with half-vampire blood in her veins before the next full moon. The chosen one is Detective Rita (Angela Bassett), who has absolutely no idea about her dark lineage.

Maximillian begins to weave a sophisticated web of seduction around Rita, offering her immortality and power, while eliminating anyone in his way with the help of his eccentric ghoul servant, Julius. However, Rita's partner, Detective Justice, who is secretly in love with her, stands in his way. Rita soon finds herself in the middle of a terrifying game, and in the final showdown, she must decide whether to succumb to the charm of the dashing vampire or remain human.
