Shallow Hal - Blu-ray

Hal is a pretty shallow idiot. On his deathbed, he promised his dad that he’d only date truly stunning, young babes – and he’s sticking to that. What on earth does he think of himself? He’s not much to look at himself, yet he’s going to be that choosy. It’s only later in life, one strange day, that Hal gets stuck in a lift and fate itself sends him a guide to help him wake up.
This guru suggests to him that true beauty isn’t often visible at first glance. He hypnotises him, and Hal – who had previously been lying to himself – begins to see a woman’s inner beauty as well, and even starts to take a liking to girls with, shall we say, baroque figures. He simply falls in love with the incredibly fat Rosemary (Gwyneth Paltrow). But is there really nothing wrong with his eyesight?
