Big Beat - Blu-ray

A successful musical comedy about freedom, independence, red stars and rock and roll. It is set in Prague in 1959 in the vicinity of the Hotel Internacional in Dejvice. The peaceful small-town life is unexpectedly interfered with by a "man from nowhere", a young hooligan named Bejby, who with his eccentric clothes, guitar and passion for rock and roll stirs up the stagnant waters of not only the boys' world, but also the world of adults trying not to think about the easy times they have to live in. Bejby's unexpected arrival interferes in the lives of the waiter's assistant Edy Drábek, the district officer Prokop and his son nicknamed Kšanda, and in a way also in the lives of the bar singer Milada and her husband, the arrogant secret service policeman Přemek.
