Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a seasoned warrior tasked with finding the Central American minister and eliminating scattered guerrillas in the region, leads his select squad of elite commandos into the tangled jungle. Little does he know, however, that an unidentified interstellar ship has landed in the same area, setting the stage for a deadly encounter. When an otherwise routine rescue mission turns into a bloodbath, the ritually mutilated bodies strewn about reveal a deadly certainty: someone, or better yet, something is hunting them for fun. Their - for the moment - primitive weaponry stands no chance against the advanced technology of the unknown alien tracker. Will Dutch's team, experienced and outnumbered, stand a chance against the Predator, the ultimate star hunter?
