Film Patton je portrétem jednoho z nejgeniálnějších válečníků dvacátého století, který získal v roce 1970 celkem 8 Oscarů. Jeden ze získaných Oscarů patří Georgovi C. Scottovi a to za jeho triumfální ztvárnění George Pattona, jediného spojeneckého generála, kterého se nacisté skutečně obávali. Charismatický Patton, který sám navrhoval vlastní uniformy a nosil šestiranovku se slonovinovou rukojetí věřil, že v minulých životech byl válečníkem. Vymanévroval Rommela v Africe a po Dni-D vedl své jednotky v nezastavitelném tažení napříč Evropou. Jak byl brilantní, tak byl odbojný a dokázal svými schopnostmi , že jeho nestálá osobnost byla jednou z největších zbraní, kterou nepřítel nedokázal nikdy porazit...

The charismatic Patton, who designed his own uniforms and carried a six-shooter with an ivory handle, believed that in past lives he had been a warrior. He outmaneuvered Rommel in Africa, and after D-Day, led his forces in an unstoppable march across Europe. As brilliant as he was rebellious, he proved with his abilities that his unstable personality was one of the greatest weapons that the enemy could never defeat...
