Downton Manor series for Blu-ray players (not playable on DVD players)
Splendour and passion, love and heartache, scandal and gossip... Set in a house in the English countryside in the years before and during the First World War, the Downton Manor series offers intricate social drama. The Crawley family have occupied their mansion for many generations. But there are servants living there too, who also have their own plans and dreams, sometimes scheming and sometimes jealous of each other. Some of them are loyal to the family and take their service at Downton as their life's destiny, others as a mere stop on their way to a better future, to love or just to adventure.
While the servants know many family secrets, the estate knows almost nothing about its employees. The fury of war has a profound effect on the fate of the Crawleys and their servants. Will the newfound peace bring change to the lives of Downton's inhabitants?
The first series of the Emmy Award-winning series from screenwriter and Academy Award winner Julian Fellowes boasts Britain's biggest stars, including Hugh Bonneville, Maggie Smith, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Dan Stevens and Rob James-Collier...
