The director and screenwriter Frank Darabont, best known for his film adaptations of Stephen King's novels The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, will now present another adaptation of the Master of Horror's short story. Artist David Drayton (Thomas Jane), along with his son Billy (Nathan Gamble) and obnoxious neighbour Norton (Andre Braugher), head to a nearby town to buy supplies the morning after an unusually strong storm. Shortly after their arrival, the supermarket is surrounded by a thick and mysterious Fog, which seems to harbour something murderous and terrifying. But an even greater evil lurks in the souls of ordinary people who are confronted with a desperate situation. Slowly but surely, the horror is breaking through to the surface...
