Loving - Blu-ray

Richard Loving, a bricklayer from Virginia, falls in love with the charming Mildred. There would likely be no drama if he were not white, she were not Black, and if this were not Virginia in the late 1950s. When Mildred becomes pregnant, the couple decides to marry, but interracial marriage is illegal in Virginia, so they travel to Washington, D.C. to wed. When they return, they are arrested and informed that their marriage certificate is not valid in Virginia. They are sentenced to one year in prison, but the judge suspends the sentence on the condition that they do not return to Virginia for at least twenty-five years. The Lovings move to Washington. They secretly return so Mildred can give birth at home, but they are arrested again and once more released…
