Joker: Folie à Deux - Blu-ray

Joker: Folie à Deux is the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2019 film Joker, which gained attention for its dark and psychological interpretation of the origin of the famous Batman villain. Director Todd Phillips returns to helm the next chapter in the life of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a mentally unstable man who, after a series of events, transforms into the iconic criminal, Joker. This time, the story focuses on the relationship between Joker and his new partner, Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga), promising a mix of madness, drama, and violence in Phillips' unique vision. “Folie à Deux” translates to "madness for two," suggesting the film will explore the dynamic between these two characters and their mutual dependency. Like the first film, this sequel offers a dark atmosphere, social commentary, and an emotionally charged performance from Joaquin Phoenix, who won an Oscar for his role as Joker.
