In the second season of HBO’s epic series Game of Thrones, kings from across the fictional continent of Westeros battle for the Iron Throne. The story unfolds against the backdrop of a rapidly approaching winter. In the royal court, the cruel young Joffrey sits on the throne, manipulated by his cunning mother Cersei and his uncle Tyrion, appointed Hand of the King. The power of the Lannisters is under tremendous pressure from all sides — with two Baratheons staking their claim to the crown and Robb Stark waging war as King in the North. Meanwhile, among the wild tribes north of the Wall, a new leader rises — a new threat to Jon Snow and the Night’s Watch — and Daenerys Targaryen plans to strengthen her weakened forces in the East with three newly hatched dragons. Endless tension, pacts, rivalries and alliances — the second season of Game of Thrones is an exhilarating journey through unforgettable lands. Let yourself be carried away by an epic tale based on George R.R. Martin’s bestseller about hypocrisy and betrayal, nobility and honor, conquest and triumph...
