In the sequel to Romancing the Stone, The Jewel of the Nile, Joan (Kathleen Turner) and Jack (Michael Douglas) embark on a dangerous quest for the legendary Jewel of the Nile. After a period of complacent life aboard their yacht, Joan accepts an invitation to the Middle East—only to be kidnapped by a mysterious ruler obsessed with the jewel.
