Description:

Escobar: Paradise Lost is set during the last years of Escobar's rule in Colombia. Young surfer Nick (Josh Hutcherson) and his brother Dylan (Brady Corbet) find a modest surfing retreat near Medellin, where Nick meets the woman of his dreams, Maria (Claudia Traisac). Maria, however, is busy working on a campaign for her uncle Pablo Escobar (Benicio del Toro). After Pablo helps Nick and Dylan with the local thugs they've been having trouble with, Nick gradually descends into a wild world of extravagance, corruption and bloodshed from which it's impossible to escape.
