Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is a 1997 mystery thriller that follows journalist Cusack as he travels to a small town in the state of Georgia to investigate a murder. There he becomes involved with eccentric local characters, including a mysterious artist played by Spacey and a corrupt mayor played by Thompson. The film focuses on the moral dilemmas and dark secrets that lurk beneath the surface of the seemingly peaceful town. Excellent performances, a deep story and a suspenseful atmosphere make this film an unmissable gem.
