Shaft - DVD

All the evidence suggests that Walter Wade murdered a young Black student and will be punished for his crime. However, this polished killer comes from a prominent family that can immediately post a high bail and keep their son out of the reach of the police. After two years, Walter secretly returns to the United States, and Detective Shaft (Samuel L. Jackson), who tracked him down, is convinced that justice will finally prevail this time. But once again, money silences it. In protest, Shaft turns in his police badge and, together with his former colleague Carmen, begins gathering evidence on his own and searching for the only eyewitness, who is now in hiding. Her life is also in danger. What appears to be a simple and straightforward case reveals a surprisingly dramatic background, leading to a completely unexpected conclusion…
