A single apple ripens on the magic apple tree. It is ready for the young healer Hannah to inherit the magical power from her mother Zora and protect the good kingdom. But Hannah is more interested in the world of people. And when she meets Prince Albert, who wanders the countryside in disguise, she goes with him to the castle without a second thought. But the evil witch Moriana returns to the kingdom. She is filled with a desire for revenge for the defeat Zora once inflicted on her and is determined to use her unloved daughter Dahlia for her dark plans. On the basis of a classic fairy tale, we can thus watch not only a thrilling battle between good and evil, but also an original story about growing up, parental love that can be both liberating and destructive, and the search for our own path in life, for which we are solely responsible. This great fairy tale was filmed in the beautiful locations of eastern Slovakia by Czech director Jakub Machala, with music by Ondřej Brzobohatý and cinematography by Nick Kollár.
