Ben-Hur is an epic tale of Ben-Hur (Jack Huston), a descendant of a prominent princely family from Jerusalem, who is falsely accused of treason by his adoptive brother Messala, a high-ranking officer in the Roman army. His family, including his beloved wife, is imprisoned, while he himself is stripped of his property and sentenced to a lifetime of slavery on the galleys.

After three years at sea, Ben-Hur returns to his homeland with a single purpose—to take revenge on Messala for all the injustices he has suffered. He challenges him to a chariot race, determined to prove that truth and victory are on his side.
