Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are police officers who were forced to go through all the rigors of high school twice in 21 Jump Street. But now a big change is coming for them. They get the assignment to work undercover at a local college.
Jenko finds kindred spirits on the sports team, Schmidt infiltrates the circle of art students. The relationship between the two heroes begins to develop serious cracks, and they slowly begin to doubt their collegial relationship.
In addition to solving the case, they will be forced to see if it is possible for their collaboration to work on a level. The transition from frozen teenagers to real men will be a big test, and college may be the best thing that ever happened to them...
