A mathematical genius, Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), who is more comfortable around numbers than people, works as a freelance accountant for the world's most dangerous criminal organisations. When the Treasury Department's Organized Crime Unit starts tightening its noose around him, Christian accepts a contract from a legitimate client: a robotics company. Its accountant (Anna Kendrick) has discovered millions of dollars in irregularities.
