The Mask of Zorro

Years ago, the legendary hero Zorro fought against the lawlessness of the Spanish colonizers in what is now California. The man with the black mask over his eyes and advocate for the poor was in fact the venerable and wealthy Don Diego de la Vega (Anthony Hopkins). Unfortunately, the royal governor Don Rafael Montero (Stuart Wilson) discovered Zorro's identity shortly before the fall of the Spanish Crusades. In a dramatic encounter, Vega's beloved wife tragically dies and the cruel Montero takes his young daughter Elena with him. The venerable Don Diego de la Vega, aka the admired and beloved Zorro, disappears into a dark prison dungeon for twenty long years.
