Marty Supreme - DVD

The film *Marty*, which has won not only several Oscars but also awards from other festivals, follows Marty Mauser, a young dreamer in 1952 New York who is obsessed with becoming the world champion in table tennis—a sport that wasn’t particularly popular at the time. The film follows his obsessive, and at times perhaps naive, belief in himself, which drives him from New York to London, Paris, and Tokyo. Director Josh Safdie combines the raw, detailed atmosphere of the 1950s with strong performances led by Timothée Chalamet.
