Description:
The Great Gatsby follows the story of Nick Carraway as he leaves the Midwest for New York City in the spring of 1922, a city that embodies loose morals and popular jazz.
Seeking his own version of the American Dream, Carraway settles near the home of the enigmatic and frequent party host Jay Gatsby, and also a short distance from his cousin Daisy and her philandering, blue-blooded husband Tom Buchanan.
Nick gradually becomes part of a world of extremely rich people, their illusions, loves and disappointments. As a witness to this world, Nick writes a story of impossible love, eternal dreams and automotive tragedy, and holds up a mirror to modern times and their struggles...
