1870, New Mexico. Frank Pierce, wealthy through crooked deals, is the wealthiest man in the country. He persuades gunfighter Lomax to shoot farmer Jackson. Pierce put the farmer in jail at the time so he could buy his land. Jackson, however, manages to sway the gunslinger to his side, namely with the promise of $100,000, which he will receive if together they raid Pierce's armored personnel carrier carrying gold.
