Car mechanic Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) has extensive experience with Transformers and, despite the war, joins forces with the ‘enemy’ Bumblebee. Their common goal is to find out why the Transformers have been returning to Earth for centuries. The answer to this question may be provided by renowned historian and perhaps the greatest theoretical expert on Transformers, Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins), who believes that the key to ending the war and saving humanity can be found in the past. The very diverse group is completed by a beautiful Oxford professor (Laura Haddock) and an orphaned teenager, Isabella (Isabela Moner), who has experienced far too much with the Transformers for her age. Film audiences can look forward to a story that takes place over several hundred years and across several continents. They will learn what the stones at Stonehenge were really used for, and perhaps they will even find the lost Optimus Prime...
