Earth, 2084. Tormented by vivid visions of a colonized Mars, construction worker Douglas Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) longs to travel to the distant red planet. To decipher his recurring nightmares, Quaid purchases a cheaper alternative to the expensive trip: implanted virtual memories of an imaginary vacation on Mars, provided by Rekall Inc. Instead, the procedure backfires, and what Quaid previously perceived as reality becomes a fog. And when the bullets start flying, the answers Quaid seeks can only be found on Mars. But how can he distinguish reality from fantasy? Is Quaid ready for a complete revelation?
