More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) prevented a day of reckoning, changed the future and rewrote the fate of the human race. The brand new deadly Terminator, Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna), returns in time to hunt down and kill Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), who lives an ordinary life in Mexico City with her brother (Diego Boneta) and father.
Dani's survival depends on her alliance with two warriors - Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super warrior from the future, and the battle-hardened Sarah Connor. As Rev-9 ruthlessly destroys everything and everyone in his path in pursuit of Dani, the three find their way to a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah's past who appears to be their last hope...
