Edward Norton's project, who took on both directing and starring, writing and producing, is based on a novel by Jonathan Lethem. It tells the story of a detective named Lionel Essrog, who suffers from Tourret syndrome, a chronic disorder manifested by motor tics - such as blinking, twitching, upper limb flapping, attention deficit disorder or hyperactivity.
