Sunshine

You've never seen anything like it before. Sunshine is an incredibly original sci-fi adventure from pioneering director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later). The year is 2057 - the sun is dying and humanity is dying with it.

The last hope for Earth is a brave crew of eight men and women tasked with reigniting the dying star during a space mission using a gigantic nuclear explosion. But far from Earth and without any connection to the control centre, their mission begins to crumble. And they realise they are not just fighting for their lives, but for the future of us all...
