In the third installment of the famous comic book hero's adventures, "Spider-Man", a shy student Peter Parker, in love with his classmate Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst), takes on not only dangerous villains but also his dark and aggressive alter ego.
His love may have won her an engagement on Broadway in the musical Memories of Manhattan, but critics have torn down her performance. Peter, however, has no time to console her. He has to go into action, and through various misunderstandings, his girlfriend begins to drift away from him. Former boyfriend Harry, who wrongly blames Peter for his father's death, attacks him but ends up in the hospital with serious injuries.
Peter also learns the truth about his uncle's killer and a dark force begins to take more and more control of him, turning his red and blue costume black. Can he resist it and win back the one he loves so much? Directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire in the title role once again...
