A Man with No Name amidst a deadly town feud

A mysterious, taciturn stranger in a poncho (Clint Eastwood) rides into the small Mexican border town of San Miguel. He quickly discovers that the town is torn apart by a ruthless blood feud between two warring dynasties: the liquor-smuggling Rojo brothers and the gun-running Baxter family. Seeing an opportunity rather than danger, the sharp-shooting drifter decides to play both sides against each other for his own gain, using his cold intelligence and lightning-fast draw to trigger a devastating showdown...
