The boy Danny Madigasn is a big movie fan and his favourite screen character is the action hero Jack Slater, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. One day he gets a magical ticket to see a new Slater movie from his best friend, an old movie theater projectionist named Nick. The magic begins to work immediately: Danny is transported directly into the film's plot, into Slater's world, where earthly rules and laws don't apply and good always triumphs over evil. But one of Slater's enemies, the villain Benedict, steals Danny's ticket and gets him into the real world. Here he wants to assassinate Arnold Schwarzenegger to finally get Slater. Slater and Danny must get into the real world to try and stop him from his plans...
