In a remote area of northern Canada, a hard-to-reach diamond mine collapses. A group of miners are trapped inside and gradually run out of oxygen. Their only hope of rescue is a team led by an experienced truck driver (Liam Neeson) able to make the dangerous journey across the frozen ocean. This almost impossible mission is complicated not only by the immense distance and violent storm, but also by the advancing thunderstorm. But none of this is equal to their main threat...
