Marley & Me - Blu-ray

Newlyweds John and Jenny Grogan decide to leave the harsh winters of Michigan and start a new life in sunny Florida. And to make matters worse, they get a cute, six-pound Labrador named Marley, who turns into a 50-pound steam engine full of irrepressible energy in a matter of weeks. Thus begins director David Frankel's film, which describes 13 years of life with a dog, a life that sometimes - and often enough - resembles living with an unpredictable hurricane. And so John and Jenny Grogan watch Marley drooling on newly painted walls, cupping everything to pieces, eating pillows and flowers, drinking water from the toilet and chasing the mailman. Marley, in turn, watches his owners' lives, their successes and failures, job changes and helps them in his own lively way to overcome all the pitfalls of a growing family. But most of all, she reminds them that life is not just worries, but a lot of fun...
