The hero of the Kung Fu Panda animated saga has proven many times that he truly deserves the title "Dragon Warrior" despite everything (especially his clumsiness). Under the expert tutelage of Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman), he makes sure that his native Valley of Tranquility lives up to its name. But now his mentor has decided that Po (Jack Black) should step up and become the spiritual leader of the entire valley, and thus also choose his successor as the Dragon Warrior. This doesn't sit well with the panda hero because he knows far less about spiritual leadership than he knew about kung fu at the start of his heroic career. His musings about a new protector of the Valley of Tranquility are unfortunately interrupted by a powerful witch (Viola Davis) who, though originally a chameleon, doesn't really care because she can turn into practically anyone. And this monster has just decided to acquire fighting skills from all the legendary kung fu fighters Po has defeated in the past. She believes that by combining them, she will become a monster that even the Dragon Warrior will be short of. So Po must put his spirituality on ice for a while longer, roll up his sleeves and get down to some honest kung fu work...
