Description:
A crime thriller inspired by the story of Jiří Kajínek, who is considered the first assassin in the Czech Republic. His escape from the Mírov prison fortress made him a legend and the most wanted man in Europe. The five weeks when he eluded the police are still shrouded in mystery.
The film Kajínek is a powerful story of our country's most notorious prisoner, a story of a double murder, a story of a defence lawyer searching for new evidence, a story of the underworld and its infiltration into the civil service, and a story of manipulation. Is Jiri Kajínek the victim of a conspiracy or a cold-blooded killer? Is he trying to prove his innocence or intimidate and influence witnesses?
