Join us in the year 1948, when the entire country is torn apart by a civil war. Gu is the commander of the Ninth Division, tasked with defending a designated territory until further notice. The radio remains silent for tens of hours, ammunition is running out, comrades are falling, and patience is wearing thin. However, in the heat of battle, the commander mishears the retreat order and refuses to believe his lieutenant that it was actually given. The radio has gone dead, and Gu is determined to fight to his last breath. All of his comrades perish, and he is captured by the enemy. Now, he is driven by a burning desire to find out what truly happened back then. And to one day tell the world that his comrades were, to a man, true heroes...
