Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo - DVD

Jim Douglas and his mechanic arrive in Paris with Herbie the Love Bug to compete in the Paris-to-Monte Carlo road rally. Coincidentally, a $6 million diamond is on display in a local museum, which is promptly stolen by two thieves. While fleeing from the police, they hide the gem inside Herbie's fuel tank.

The qualifying race begins. In the first heat, Herbie falls head over heels for a Lancia. Because he becomes completely smitten, he gets in her way, leaving her driver, Diane, furious that she missed out on qualifying because of him. However, both Herbie and the Lancia get another shot and manage to reach the finals in the second qualifier. Meanwhile, the two thieves spend the entire time trying to get to Herbie to reclaim their stolen diamond...
