Gigi - DVD

Little Gigi (Leslie Caron) is raised by her grandmother and occasionally receives social lessons from her grandmother's sister, a courtesan. At her grandmother's she meets a rich young man, Gaston (Louis Jourdan). Gaston comes over to soak up the domesticity and tease Gigi. She doesn't even realise that she has grown up to be a lady. This transformation causes a change in their relationship, with the grandmother making it clear that she won't let Gigi be compromised without a guarantee of financial security. Gaston agrees to the terms of the deal, but on the first night he introduces Gigi to the company, he realizes he loves her and proposes.
