Gangster Squad - Blu-ray

The year is 1949, and Los Angeles is ruled with an iron fist by ruthless criminal Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn). He protects his gang with massive corruption, so police chief Bill Parker (Nick Nolte) resorts to extreme measures. He hires seasoned hero Sergeant John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) to assemble a unit capable of enforcing justice through guerrilla warfare. Their task is not to arrest, but to provoke conflict. Soon, gunfire rocks the city. Somewhat against his will, world-weary police sergeant Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling) also gets involved in the fighting when he falls hopelessly in love with Grace Faraday (Emma Stone). Cohen also has his sights set on this stunning beauty. Inspired by an incredible but true story, Gangster Squad reveals the secret archives of the police and their struggle for the soul of Los Angeles...
